1952年，农业部设立中监所并责令该所负责收集兽医微生物菌种，进行鉴定和保藏。　　 

　　1979年，成立中国微生物菌种保藏管理委员会，兽医微生物菌种保藏管理中心是其中7个专业性保藏管理中心之一。　　 

　　1980年，建立了兽医微生物菌种保藏管理中心，设在中国兽医药品监察所。　　 

　　The Ministry of Agriculture set up the IVDC in 1952, which is responsible for collecting, identifying and preserving the veterinary culture of microorganism. 

　　In 1979, China Committee for Culture Collection of Microorganism (CCCCM) set up, China Veterinary Culture Collection Center (CVCC) is one of the seven professional culture collection center.  

　　Ministry of Agriculture in 1980 established China Veterinary Culture Collection Center in IVDC.
